On July 1, 2008, Snow Dragon, LLC joined the Industrial Equipment Group (IEG) of Park-Ohio Holdings Corporation. The IEG is a conglomeration of subsidiaries of Park-Ohio under the direction of Tom Illencik. Snow Dragon has been closely aligned with Ajax Tocco Magnethermic (ATM) for the past year, sharing engineering services and manufacturing technology. By joining the IEG, Snow Dragon will be able to take advantage of other shared resources. Snow Dragon President, John Allin stated “Being associated with the IEG will allow Snow Dragon to take advantage of greater purchasing power, gain even more manufacturing capability, and allow integration of our global presence with other Park-Ohio entities. It is a smart strategic move for Snow Dragon. This alliance will help with cost containment in this volatile U.S. economy and will benefit end-users through enhanced delivery schedules as we continue our rapid growth world-wide.” |
